For those who need to know!

NOPE....... NOT YET! :-)

Since I have received several emails and calls today, I thought I should confirm. I told Luke (my BIL who said the baby would be late) that if he is the winner of our baby poll, he doesn't get the prize!!! (Not that there really is a prize, but it made me feel better to punish him somehow.....)

All is well here, though. Matt is having an exceptionally great week. He looks better than he has looked in ages. He is going to school all day long and is remembering minute details about his day - YEA!!!

I need to post Halloween pictures....... Soon, I (sort of) promise!

Darn it! I was hoping that since you're a pretty regular blogger that something good and exciting had happened. Now you know how to torture all of us...just sit back and relax for a few days and don't post anything. The rumors will start flying.

I feel so bad for you not getting that baby out yet! I know that you are anti-induction, but I was induced with all 3 of mine because I couldn't stand the thought of keeping them inside any longer. I hope that you are able to get that baby out soon!

I was also wondering since it had been several days since you had been in touch with us all!! I am still totally voting for tomorrow since you have already gone this long! What a wonderful anniversary gift! That is so great about Matthew!! It is wonderful to hear that he is doing so well-I am sure that it is so awesome for you to see him looking better! Love you!

Rachael,
It's not so much that I'M anti-induction (although I was induced with Matt and it wasn't a pleasant experience). It's that once you have a C-Section, they cannot induce you. The contrax come too strong and the risk of uterine rupture goes up with Pitocin. Soooooo, I can basically opt for a c-section at this point, or just wait.... and wait..... and wait.... :-) What will tick me off is if I decide to be patient but somehow end up with a c-section next week anyhow, for whatever reason. I could have opted for THAT last week!!!!

Denise,
I'm due the 10th. Technically I'm not 'late', I know. But remember, Will came 2 weeks early, and Nate and Drew came 5 weeks early! AND, when the doc checked me after Matthew's diagnoses and surgery (around 32 weeks) I was already 50% effaced and starting to dialate. I was just SURE this little one would come early. Oh well, at least s/he is comfy in there!

Cristy,
I hope the baby comes on your anniversary as well! :-)

I'm glad you said something. I've been checking your blog daily to see if you've had your baby. Since you hadn't posted in a few days I was hoping that meant you were in the hospital. Sorry! Good luck, I hope this baby comes soon! We have you all in our thoughts and it's great to hear that Matt is doing so well with this round of chemo as well as in school.
